First time I use Bloombar watches to sell a watch and as all other reviews attest, everything was great and would highly recommend without hesitation. Quick email replies, good knowledge, very fair pricing and money wired to my account before I left. Add to that just lovely team/people to deal with. Will be on my list of people to use for next purchase and sale.

Great experience from start to finish! Found Bloombar via a social media post and was hesitant at first to deal with a company in this way but so glad I did. The watch was presented in mint condition and a visit to their London office sealed the deal. Everyone at Bloombar knows their stuff and if you have questions or concerns, you can discuss them with experts. Will definitely return when next looking to buy.

Flawless. Really satisfying to find a business that truly looks after you and has the patience to work with you to get exactly what you are looking for. Sam was brilliant.
The aftersales service (to adjust the strap and demonstrate how the watch functions work) has also been exemplary
There really is no other place to buy a watch.

How Much Is My Omega Worth?

With notable brand pedigree and history, Omega watches are highly sought-after and desirable status symbols. The value of Omega watches varies depending on the specific model, rare details, condition, market trends and auction prices. External economic factors can also play a role.

Notable Omega models
We buy all models Omega, both current and vintage. Here are some of the most commonly traded Omega models:
Constellation

The Constellation collection combines the classic Omega sports approach with refined class, showcasing the best of Omega’s mechanical and material prowess.

Referencing classic 1940s and 50s Omega models with a ‘pie-pan’ dial, the collection includes the stunning Globemaster dress watch which was certified as the world’s very first Master Chronometer in 2015. It comes in steel, precious metals and an ‘annual calendar’ iteration.

Seamaster

Designed in 1948, Omega’s diverse Seamaster collection is home to a range of water-proof dress watches and serious diver’s watches. Originally perfecting the core principles of a diving watch, the collection now includes the Bullhead, Soccer, Chronostop Regatta, Memomatic and Paris 2024. But its most notable releases are the Diver 300M and Aqua Terra 150.

Diver 300M

The Seamaster Diver 300M grabbed global attention as the choice of watch for Pierce Brosnan’s James Bond in the mid-90s. This stunning stainless steel model features a threaded helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, Calibre 8800 and 8806 movements and a wave-patterned dial under a loupe.

Aqua Terra 150

The elegant 2002 Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 is robust, functional and highly sophisticated. Typically featuring a stainless steel case, iterations include titanium, gold, and two-tone combinations with Super-LumiNova hands for enhanced legibility. Notably, the ‘teak concept’ dial features horizontal lines inspired by the wooden decks typically found on luxury sailboats.

Planet Ocean

Designed in 2005 to be twice as water-resistant and slightly larger than the Diver 300M, the Omega Planet Ocean is available as a carbon-cased, GMT and chronograph model (among others). Often purchased with orange details, various aesthetic choices are available including an 18k Sedna Gold case paired with ceramic dials and bezels.

Speedmaster

First designed for motorsports use in 1957, Omega’s Speedmaster collection is referred to as ‘the Porsche 911 of watches’. Typically featuring a stainless steel case, various designs exist including an all-black ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ model. The Speedmaster collection is famous for the three-sub dial layout and a central chronograph hand.

The Moonwatch Professional

Rarely modified since launch, the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional was worn by Buzz Aldrin in 1969 when he became the first man to step foot on the surface of the Moon. Essential to the Apollo 11 mission, four versions now exist including a stainless steel release with hesalite glass or sapphire crystal, a hand-wound Calibre 3861 movement and a 50-hour power reserve.

De Ville

Sleek and sophisticated, the De Ville was originally part of the Seamaster collection in 1960 but broke away in 1967. Now Omega’s leading elegant dress watch, it even offers true Haute Horlogerie.

Often, but not exclusively, considered a women’s watch, the De Ville is available in a wide range of eye-catching models including those with stainless steel, gold, tone-tone and dials with mother-of-pearl, white, black and blue colours. There is even an Omega tourbillon, with a stunning 18K Sedna gold movement (becoming the first manual-winding central tourbillon to be Master Chronometer certified).
